Shopsmith Power Coupler Coupling time saver stub

This set-up timesaver stub allows a quick transition from use of the headstock spindle to a power coupler driven accessory. This 3D printed part is versatile as it can be used with a drill chuck or any arbor mounted accessory with a 1/2" threaded shaft, 11/16" or 3/4" clamping nut. It is printed from ABS plastic.

The time saver stub with the included bolt is used with the drill chuck.

The unmounted time saver stub is used with an arbor mounted accessory like a grinding wheel, flap disk wheel, wire wheel, etc. Is even easier and quicker as the stub end slips over the locking nut of the accessory and is retained between the power coupling and adjoining accessories. The arbor nut must be torqued to greater than 5 ft-lbs.

Do not use a stub that shows any signs of delamination, cracks or visible defects. Do not attempt to repair the stub.
