Temporary queen bee excluder for top bar hive or swarm capture box

This queen excluder design is intended for temporary use when first introducing a swarm to a new top bar hive or while temporarily housing the swarm after capture in a cardboard box. The queen excluder also has a closure hatch as well to allow easy transportation. With two screw holes, mounting is possible for either a top bar hive or swarm capture box.

The queen excluder is sized to approximately .154" wide slots. Other sizes could be made available upon request. This slot width has worked pretty well for me in Texas.

I sized the opening to 1 inch in diameter.

This is a 3D printed design using PLA plastic.
